Whenever I look in Task Manager, a task calledMicrosoft Software Protection Platkhung Service is using 30% or more of my cpu. This happens even when I am not using office products. If your security software didn"t find any virus/malware, let’s boot the computer inSafe Mode and check if issue reappears. Safe mode is a diagnostic mode that starts your computer in a limited state.
